If you're reading this, you probably already know plenty about me, since I am 100% convinced my only readers are my family. But...if you did happen to stumble upon my little blog from the far away reaches of the internet, thanks!

I don't think I really need to say much about be myself because that's kind of what this whole blog is about, right? I think I'm like a lot of people my age...tired of throwing things away, tired of buying and consuming and never getting ahead. So I'm working on it. I spent the first half of my 20s traveling around like a hobo and not taking anything particularly seriously, and the second half of my 20s and first half of my 30s making up for that.

I possess all the same character flaws as every other lifestyle blogger including thinking what I am doing is particularly interesting, but I promise that I will never suggest that any of this comes easily, except for the messing it up part. So...follow my journey of trying to become less awful. Get excited about planting tomatoes with me! Look at 900 pictures of my ducks and my dog and my cat and my yard. Laugh along when I think that building something will be a breeze and then it is a disaster.

If I have learned anything in life, it's that no one knows nothin'. It is with that basic credo that I have pressed forward to do some pretty cool things, and I plan to share them here so that maybe someone else who doesn't know nothin' will read along and say "hey, that girl doesn't know nothin' but she did that cool thing so I probably can too!"
